QUESTION 1: Which character would you like to be like? In what way? Why?
RESPONSE 1: If I were to be like any character, I would want to be the main character, Jack Reacher. He is always on top of everything but at the same time he has no idea what's going on with his career. He got moved from his previous post where he was in command to a small base called Fort Bird. He is now solving a case that is at a dead end and now his commanding officer from Rock Creek has randomly been re-stationed to Korea for a job that's ranked a star ahead of his current ranking. He is trying to figure out what is going on while has another case on his hands with a dead guy in the woods. I think that I would like to be him because he is intelligent and strong hearted. His mom is dying but he is strong and knows how to handle the situation. Although he has a job that most people don't like, people like him and that is something I also like about him. If I were like him, I wouldn't care what people thought and wouldn't let that bit of amusement from teasing me get by them. Overall, he is a cool character.

QUESTION 2: What other character(s) beside the main character is really important to the story? How and why?

RESPONSE 2: There are many important characters to the story. one of them is Colonel Garber who was the commanding officer at Rock Creek. His signature was supposedly on the form that transferred Jack to Fort Bird. Since then, he has made an effort to keep up with the Kramer case until being moved to Korea. Another important character is Lieutenant Summers. She was trying to get a promotion to special units when MP Jack Reacher needs her for assistance in a talk with Kramers wife. She went from driving Jack to Virginia to being essential to the case. Now that the case is stopped by the new General, she and Jack just remain friends and ask each other for help when needed.
